RESIST-AMR at the Ploughing

RESIST-AMR attended the National Ploughing Championships in September, 2025 to spread awareness of the One Health importance of AMR and inform the public about the project’s aims. RESIST-AMR was supported by the TCD Global Team who graciously gave us space in the TCD tent space.

World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) 2024

World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week (WAAW) is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about antimicrobial resistance and fostering a deeper understanding of its impact. The campaign encourages best practices among One Health stakeholders to combat the rise of drug-resistant infections. WAAW takes place annually from November 18th to 24th.

Throughout this week, numerous conferences and events are held worldwide, bringing together researchers to present their latest findings on AMR. Each year, the campaign highlights a specific theme, addressing critical issues in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.
